I am here to act as your advocate and to help guide you through what may be a difficult time in your life.  Whether your matter is contentious or amicable, I will counsel you through all aspects of a process that can be emotionally and financially challenging with confidence and compassion.  If experience tells me anything, things will get better.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Minors in Business and Spanish from Villanova University.  I was an avid member of the community, president of my sorority and on the club tennis team.   I received my Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law, where I served as a Staff Writer and Symposium Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.  I am a big Villanova Basketball fan!

While in law school, I focused on trial practice, negotiation and mediation, business law and wealth tax issues.   If there is anything I have learned, it is that family law touches on every aspect of the law and every aspect of life.  I have practiced family law exclusively since graduating from law school.

I was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2012.  I am a certified Guardian Ad Litem, and a member of the family law sections of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and Fairfield County Bar Association.  I am currently a co-chair of the FCBA family law section.

I have experience in all aspects of family law, whether through negotiation, mediation, a collaborative process, or litigation.  I have been involved in numerous high asset divorce cases and high conflict child custody cases, both as a lawyer and Guardian Ad Litem.  I have extensive experience with alimony and child support, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, business valuations, custody evaluations, post judgment issues (modifications, and contempt actions) and cohabitation agreements.  I regularly work with appraisers, financial experts, vocational experts, custody evaluators and forensic accountants to help better advocate for my clients.

I am a Fairfield County native and reside in Westport with my husband and three children.  In my spare time, I help run two family businesses related to construction and real estate, and I enjoy cooking, traveling, skiing and tennis.
